OMFG! WYSIWUG – or not. With dreamweaver I’m finding it incredibly frustrating that adobe adds “helpful” default options. (Granted there are a few good helpful default options-which I will talk about in later posts) For example I inserted a picture in my hompage then I made it a hyperlink-when I hyperlinked the image there was a default border (about 5 pixels or so) that went around the image-thereby #*$&ing up the alignment of the rest of the images next to the one I hyperlinked. Incredibly it took me about 45 minutes to find out where the hell the option was to take out the border. You would think that you would be able to find and edit this border option under the page properties tab in the category links (css)-but no. So I search and search only to find that when I click the image I hyperlinked that a new properties tab opens up. In this properties tab (the tab opens up at the bottom of your editing screen) there is a option named border- ta da. Anyway currently I’m working trying to make my homepage use CSS. CSS is very very good for use in designing web sites. More on this later though-I’m really tired, its late, and I have my internship 2mara-where I hope I do more than photoshop. Laterz
